My husband and I are taking a one way trip in December from Phoenix to Milwaukee. There are a few different train options. Have any of you take this route and what was your experience.. This will be my husbands first train trip... I want him to have a great experience

I was on the Hiawtha running from Milwaukee to Chicago on Tuesday.. Way over sold, people we sitting on the floor, while other stood where ever they could. I was glad my niece and I got to the station early and got a seat!!!

I ordered the chicken strips. They were microwaved and awful. But both the hotdog and cheese burger were very good.
