Renew your Starwood (Sheraton hotel family) SPG points for free

I know some of us collect SPG (Sheraton hotel family) points, from credit card bonuses and hotel stays. These are valuable points both for hotel redemptions and AGR transfers. The only drawback is the points expire if you don't have any account activity for a while. SPG is sponsoring a trivia...

    One Pass Plus

Yes, but don't wait to transfer to AGR. You never know when the CO / AGR transfer agreement will expire. Especially since CO is merging with United, and things will probably change by the end of the year.

    Chase Sapphire Preferred card

That's really strange. 50K is the standard offer, and should still be active. Are you sure they aren't asking about the "extra" 50K offer (total of 100K points), that was floating around for a short while? I would just send them a screen shot of the below web site, to verify the 50K offer...

Great news with the AGR CC sign-up bonus!

:giggle: Yeah, I'm trying to persuade some of my credit worthy relatives to let me manage a credit card or two for them, y'know the easy ones with no ann fee and min spend but decent bonuses. So far no dice :(

Think AGR Will Give You The Very Last Room?

Sounds like it's time for agent roulette :giggle:

    Oklahoma City Heartland

I took this advice for a Thanksgiving trip last year, and the Norman train station was a nice place to leave and return from.

Can I do Coast Starlight -->SWC Eastbound?

If you are buying a ticket use the Multi City tab (next to the one way and RT options) and put LAX as an intermediate point

Chase Sapphire Credit Card 50k==>50K Continental or AGR points

Bumping for a good deal! Also remember Chase still does a Continental card for 25 or 30K miles + $50 credit, with just one purchase. http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/products/chase/continental.aspx?offer=OPP30AU&mkid=6S1B Get it before the Continental --> AGR disappears (just...

Also check out the Chase credit cards mentioned in this forum (Continental and Chase Sapphire). If you have good credit, you can get points that will transfer to AGR to top off your account

    Amtrak guest rewards credit card

Y'know with a little proactive communication they could certainly alleviate a lot of the confusion on this. For those pages that exist with the offer of XX points just call with promo number 1234 or whatever, they could just put a big fat "TARGETED OFFER ONLY" or "MUST HAVE RECEIVED SPECIAL...

    Amtrak guest rewards credit card

:giggle: Yeah I know I'm in for a probable battle. I'm crossing my fingers for at least the 16K from Chase, since they promised that much on the phone. Maybe I'll also get the 6K "half" from AGR. We'll see what happens when my first cc statement closes.

Roger, it's just common sense to wear closed toed shoes.

    Amtrak guest rewards credit card

I applied and was approved for this AGR card which promises 32K points: http://www.mychasecreditcards.com/amtrak/smt32/?CELL=6F7N Upon activation, the Chase rep said I would receive 16K points 6-8 wks after first purchase, then receive 16K from AGR. I will let everyone know of my luck with...
