You guys are right about the city line. We are always have a problem trying to get police or fire to respond. After all these years, they still dispute who should respond.

During the anthrax scare, we had a powder problem and it took 2 hours of bickering before Metro-Dade finally responded. Turned out to be cocaine!!

Can't somebody just figure which city the station is better off in?

I'd hate for there to be a fire or accident at the station based on what Joe said.
 
The station itself is in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, just a few yards from the line where the City of Hialeah begins. Part of the yard is within Hialeah, but the station itself is part of the unincorporated county, without being in any city limits. More than half of Miami-Dade County fits this description.
