This tunnel is on the Shasta Lake line relocation that was done in relation to the construction of Shasta dam which flooded the original line. You are a few miles north of the Pit River bridge, which makes the Kate Shelly bridge look like a trestle. It is about 400 feet high, but much of this is hidden by the lake.

the employe timetable does not give a list of tunnels. You are about at milepost 268 to 270. That is, something around 10 miles north of Redding CA on UP's Roseville Area Valley Subdivision.
