Use headphones. People talking on cell phones is bad enough. I'm sure you'd enjoy your music a lot more with good quality earphones rather than relying on the small speakers used in mobile device. I know I and those in other adjoining rooms would!
I LOVED that movie...LOLGeorge Caldwell and Hilly didn't use headphones, they turned on the in room Music. But, I agree, headphones please.
I will never complain about Arlo Guthrie. And I don't want a pickle.
Yes, please use headphones for this one.
True, but you may end up like George - thrown off the train by other passengers! :giggle:George Caldwell and Hilly didn't use headphones, they turned on the in room Music. But, I agree, headphones please.
Only if you're quiet - otherwise you need nosephones! :giggle:I am almost afraid to sneeze in the roomette now! They at least allow that in the quiet car!!
I have been thinking of transcribing that for organ. ;-)Actually, this is the only acceptable piece of music to listen to without headphones:
Only if it's the Solti recording. Mrs. Ispolkom and I took the Empire Builder to Seattle last summer for a Ring Cycle and encountered literally half a dozen other Ring Heads at breakfast in Washington state. So no Wagner Ring Cycle?I'd prefer Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”
Hmmm..thats a really cool idea....not that I do things like thatWe could hang up a disco ball in the SSL.
How out a dj with turn tables . . . This would lead to a new term. Amscratch-what happens when the train hits rough track and the needle skips across the record.
I thought the same thing. Will someone complain about music played in your roomette? Not necessarily. Is it a breach of etiquette? Absolutely.Etiquette is a nice expression... for me, if I am forced to hear other folks music, loud voices, phones, etc, uninvited, that is a breach of common etiquette.
Ed.
True-But making a connection in a Stearman bi-plane, stolen Jaguar, and a cop car is still easier and with fewer connections than getting to most places in the US on Amtrak! Though, either way, one thing is certain, at some point you're going to have to arrive in Chicago.True, but you may end up like George - thrown off the train by other passengers! :giggle:George Caldwell and Hilly didn't use headphones, they turned on the in room Music. Hopefully not the same way "Amroad" arrived!one thing is certain, at some point you're going to have to arrive in Chicago.
YesIs there ice available on sleepers?
People on their Honeymoons are Exempt! :lol:If I were to have done such a thing (and I'm not saying that I have), I would have been quiet enough not to have been heard.
