Amtrak's Parade Float

I heard it was on a large truck a few days ago, before it mysteriousl disapeared (see: Amtrak Service Disruption: Train Hits Large Truck)

i heard it hit a truck full of frozen pizzas at a crossing and derailed.

Actually the story I heard was it collided with a tanker truck carrying A&W, and they ended up with one big

And did Congress supply straws - or did they withhold them too! :lol:

the float came from England and they had to fit it with knuckle couplers and compatible with 480V and enhanced Air conditioning.

I'll bet that they were so nervious after the breakdown that they were fitted with white knuckle couplers! :unsure:

Were any of the wheels damaged during the derailment and if so, did they have to use the frozen pizzas to replace any of the damaged wheels? :huh:

that was real when a BNSF train hit a truck full of frozen pizzas. dragged the truck down the track till it snagged a billboard and derailed the train.
