Just giving an update to those who might be interested. I just called amtrak and as of right now, they have stopped the CONO from Chicago to Memphis until May 20th due to the floods. She said it was originally the 14th but they just updated to the 20th, pending level and track damage. just...

I just called Amtrak as I am scheduled to leave this sunday via EB (montana) to CHI and the CONO to memphis and they are not running tomorrow for sure and he didn't think they would run wed either. I'll have to give kudos to the CS rep. He was VERY helpful which I wasn't expecting. Just jaded...

Really, because I stayed in kalispell for a month and we drove up through part of the park, and it was the same part that the train runs through. My mom was born and raised there, lives there now so I am fairly certain she knows whats the park and what isn't. :) The park is kinda weird though...

I guess I planned my trip right then. We had a six hour delay on Eb due to a freight train breaking down on tuesday. I almost left on wed or thurs. LOL, guess I made the right choice. Poor Eb though, it's having a tough time lately it seems.
