    CZ upside down

I don't know about this particular train, but when we ran earlier this month UP treated us pretty well. We had the current slow order delays that was effecting both freights and passenger. In addition we had a little extra time to remove someone from the train. We were as late as 2 Hrs 22...

    Empire Builder

We just did the Eastbound Portland to Chicago. Even though it was Early October, we still saw a quite a bit on the Columbia. The other part we enjoyed was along the Mississippi between St. Paul and LaCrosse.

    Route Choice

I agree with Mike, If you are getting off at Denver, take the Empire Builder instead for the the Mississippi River Views. If you are getting off at Salt Lake City, take the Zephyr.

Quick Heads Up for San Antonio - Luggage

I am not sure about previous occurances, and from talking with crew I in no way believe that this is a regular occurance. To the contrary, I think this is likely some people who saw an opportunity that became easily available. I honestly suspect that things have been tightened up in the last 2...

Sleeping Car Attendant Hall of Fame?

We just had Ralph on the Zephyr. He was fantastic. We also liked Garrett on the Parlor Car and Joyce on the Dining Staff of the Chief.

Thanks for the heads up. I may take something just to cover the surface. We will also leave the pockets empty. I will not have trouble getting these up the stairs. Thanks for the heads up on the access as well. We will have some time to figure things out. We are going to have 12 nights on...

    Luggage storage in bedrooms

Thanks. We will just make sure we keep some space in those rollers so we can push them down a bit if needed.

    SEA-SAS

That's likely the time it took to talk to her supervisor. Even that seems a bit light, but glad you got that. That can't be the greatest job to have right now.
