What happened to the Capitol Limited today ?

Anybody know what happened to the Capitol Limited today, Tuesday June 7? It arrived in Pittsburgh from Chicago between 4 and 5 A.M. as usual. But it never continued on to Washington, D.C. I saw it finally leave Pittsburgh at 2:20 P.M. empty.

I know there were some heavy thunderstorms come through the evening before. Anybody know what happened?

they might have bus everyone and flew crew back 2 chicago or had them ride the bus ( I have been flown and had 2 ride the bus several times)

Pax to Washington not wishing to be bustituted could have taken that morning's PENNSYLVANIAN to Philadelphia, and then a Regional to Washington. I wonder if that option was ever offered to the stranded passengers.
