The Vermonter Business Class has been in one of the "combined" cafe/business class cars with the club seats. Now that the train is taking the direct route north of Springfield has there been any change in the business class car used, such as using a full cafe car and a full business class car like most Northeast Regionals? Thanks in advance......

Same on today's train as well. Did notice two locomotives, not sure what that is about.

The Vermonter is one of the best trains to take on the NE Corridor, IMO. The business class seats are actually worth it, unlike the ex-Metroliner coaches that most other NER trains use as business class.

Today, southbound, there was the usual half cafe/half "real" business class car. In addition, the lead "coach" car was actually one of the full "business" class car you see on NEC. It was not being used for business class, but was a regular coach car. No idea why, maybe a shortage of coach cars.
