Train #22 to #370

at the start of august I am going to take the #22 into Chicago and connecting to the pere marquette to Grand Rapids. I have been watching the status of 22 into Chicago and have seen that always gets in late. So i was wondering what happens if it miss the connection?

As i live in Grand Rapids, the terminus of the pere marquette, i have seen vans/buses show up at the station for people who missed there connection. So unless you the only one who missed the connection or your train arrives a day late you will be bused to your destination. If your train doesnt run more than 2 and a half hours late you should make the connection!
