Stop at Naperville

I am taking the southwest chief to LA and back. When returning, do we need to get our tickets so that it says we will stop at Naperville iL or can we just tell the sleeping car attendant so they can tell the conductor????

If you haven't yet booked your tickets, then book them to Naperville. Much easier that way. If you've already booked and ticketed to Chicago, you can tell the attendant you want to get off early. Be sure to remind them as you get closer, though, so they can tell the conductor and they know to open the door for you to get off.

I did this once. Make sure attendant knows or he won't open the door. It's no big deal.
