Starbucks through AGR

AGR spells out that getting points for gift cards won't work.

Can you reload an existing Starbucks card through the AGR portal and get points for it? This is a fine point. I'm not gifting this to anyone. I'm not buying a gift card. It's a prepaid purchase.

Good question! The T&C does state

...some merchandise items and gift certificates do not qualify for point awards ...

(emphasis mine)

I think that is a general CYA statement put in by AGR covering all merchants. Many offer a GC that can be used on their site. And it does say SOME - not ANY or ALL! It may be that since Starbucks offer a reload choice only on the site, it may be possible. I really do not know.
