Just heard from an aquaintance-- Acela express sets are supposed to be back in service tomorrow.

I have no idea about the reliability of his sources, so i sort of doubt that it is true, as we woulda probably heard more press about this.

Amtrak announced a few days ago that they were aiming for July for a partial return of Acela service.

They'll be doing some trial runs here and there for evaluation, and then phase in scheduled service beginning in July.
