Points Refund

Been thinking about redeeming some points for a trip this winter, but I won't know if I have vacation time until about 6 weeks before I would have to depart. So, if I get a 2-zone roomette and blow 20,000 points and then I can't go, what happens with the points? Thanks!

The great thing about AGR is the ease that you can cancel and then redeposit the points in your account! B)

Earlier this year, I had a cross country (sleeper) award planned. But then the midwest flooding happened. (I feel sorry for all those affected! ) I was not sure if the SWC would be affected. I was hoping the EB would clear. So I held off canceling as long as I could. When I did cancel, it was within 7 days of departure!

ALL my points were redeposited into my account! B)

Wow!!!! Thats great! This may or may not happen, (the trip I'm planning) but with going to Washington DC in the winter, I would much rather be on a train than trying to fly. Thanks for the info!
