Hello everyone,
I am a new Member, and I appreciate all the help I received from current Forum members with my question on adding a passenger to my sleeper room. Once several Forum members informed me of the "Open Sleeper ticket," I knew I had found the right place to find help with all of my Amtrak questions and I had to join to show my support.
While I write from Michigan where we generally have little interest in rail and lots of interest in our own cars and freeways, I have always enjoyed trains, their engineering, and their place in history past and present. To date, my Amtrak travels are limited to the Wolverine and the California Zephyr, but I have planned a trip in 2014 on both the Empire Builder and California Zephyr.
I look forward to learning more from the Forum.
