Mudslide south of Everett............again

Its been reported that there has been another mudslide south of Everette. Trains are now cancelled for 48 hours.

This comes after last weeks mess.

Does anyone know what Amtrak will do with the passengers already on train 7/27 (1/18/11)? I have a friend who is on 27 right now on her way to PDX. The train is in Montana now heading west. Since she is going to Portland, I assume that she will not be bused and will take 27 to PDX.

Normally, passengers will ride buses between Everett and Seattle.
