The dining car remains with train 7 at Spokane with 27 splitting off to Portland. What is the "complimentary cold meal service" that is served to first class for breakfast? Coffee and a bagel?
 
When I rode that section a couple of years ago, I got a pretty good croissant sandwich (I think it was ham & cheese) with fruit and yogurt, plus juice.
