Lots of red numbers on the status map

Seems like it has been a bad couple of days for delays on the long distance trains. Hope it clears up before my HOS-LVW-SPI-GBB-SAC-SEA trip next month.

6(23) almost 2 hours late into CHI

6(24) over 5 hours late into CHI

6(25) almost 2.5 hours late departing DEN

22(26) already 6 hours late from DAL

21(24) almost 7 hours late into SAS

11(24) 5 hours late into LAX

7(24) 3 hours late into SEA

7(25) 3.5 hrs late at WPT

Can't say about others, but the 6(24) was the one I was on. Beyond Amtrak's control. Not likely to repeat because we were stopped in Winter Park and just west of Moffet tunnel by the search for a trespasser observed entering the east end of the six mile tunnel. (I posted about that topic as it was happening. After a 3+ hour delay, we we badly out of our time slot and kept being blocked by slow freights and by rail work between OSC and OTM in Iowa.
