The eTicketing website seems to give the inference that the Hiawatha (and any other unreserved trains other than the Capitol Corridor) do not yet have eTicketing.

For Train Routes Not Requiring Reservations (such as the Capitol Corridor):

Among the few train routes not requiring reservations, Capitol Corridor is currently the only one with eTicketing enabled.

Is this true?

No, it is not true. The Hiawatha's and other unreserved services like the Keystones are all e-ticket enabled. You found an old webpage that Amtrak forgot to revise.

Speaking from recent experience, the Hiawatha is indeed eTicket enabled. A couple weeks ago I made a MKE-CHI-MKE trip, did not bring a paper ticket or QuikTrak printout, and just used the Amtrak Android app.
