Back in April 2009, I was on train #350 returning from Chicago and somewhere near Parma, MI the train suddenly went very slowly. So here I am, in a seat in a Horizon coach car (or was it the business class car? I can't remember that far) with the blue interior. The train went slow all the way into Jackson, MI, the final stop eastbound before entering Metro Detroit. As a result, somewhere near Ann Arbor, there was an announcement that the train was so late that it had to terminate in Detroit, there a bus would take over the rest of the way to Pontiac. Lucky me, as Dearborn was my stop (and as I stepped out of the station I saw on that train there was a former F40, now a Non-Powered Control Unit or "Cabbage" still in Phase III!). And that was my story.
