Dining Car on CONO

Has a dining car been restored to the City of New Orleans with flex meals? As some of you may know for the last several weeks the train had been running with only a Sightseer Lounge.

Has a dining car been restored to the City of New Orleans with flex meals? As some of you may know for the last several weeks the train had been running with only a Sightseer Lounge.

Nope, the CONO has a Sprcial Heat and Eat Menu that is different than the Flex Menus on the other LD Trains.

The last time I rode the CONO i thought that the Me a lx were a step up from most Flex Meals!

The CONO "First Class Menu" (to use Amtrak's title), is basically the Cafe menu.
