Hey guys,
I just got back this morning from an out and back trip on the Silver Star from CLB to TPA. Overall, it was a great trip. I have posted a full trip report along with 50+ pictures on another site so I will link to it here:
Silver Star CLB-TPA-CLB
91 (27) departed CLB over an hour late but we made up time and arrived into TPA pretty much on schedule. I was in coach on that one. Pretty full train but I had an seat open next to me which was nice. Had breakfast in the diner, and it was ok, although the omelet was a little dry.
92 (27) was dead on time out of TPA and over 20 min. early into CLB; Dinner was good; Had a Roomette for this one, and slept very well for around 6 hours.
EDIT: Title should read "CLB-TPA-CLB" obviously.
