I don't know if anyone ever watched the Lone Gunmen (an X-files spinoff that didn't make it) but one episode actually involved a plane crashing in to the towers, but this was a year or two before the tragedy. Its unfortunate and almost eerie how the circumstances are similar in those ways.

Its unfortunate how the girl that lost part of her leg was one of the luckiest ones in the sleeper.
