:hi: Shouldnt be any problem since the train starts in NYP and hasnt had time to get late as it does many times between WAS and CHI! Your SCA should have you a rez if necessary (rememeber this train has a diner-lite, the server is also the convection oven cook! )and there are not many places to sit is this so called diner/lounge car. Not sure if you are in coach, Ive seen the coach pax not get to eat on this train due to shortage of time/OBS/food when it runs really late!

Breakfast is normally started between Trenton and Philadelphia on the Cardinal.

No, but breakfast will start at about 7:45 am.
