And that's the month of August. Hopefully in the next week or so (I work W-Su), I'll have some spare time to tabulate some statistics.

should i be worried about making me connecting train in washington dc

No you should be ok. It is a Guarnteed Connection so in most cases Amtrak will either hold it or have you meet the train.
 
just for the record when i took train 30 to washington DC on Sept 23-24 we got in around 340pm (thanks to some moron that tried to beat a freight just ahead of us that left us setting in lekhart IN for better part of 2 and half hours) only to find out train 91 was running 2 hours late due to a electrical problem
 
This train's otp continues to be ghastly. Most major delays seem to occur from waterloo to Chicago. Is the derailment a few weeks ago still an issue?
