As wife and I begin our Birthday Loop Tour CLE-CHI-WAS-CLE, started thinking about ways to make some double points runs. 
Thinking of taking Hiawatha from CHI to Glenview, IL 400pts RT
WAS to BAL on NEC = 400pts RT and
maybe WAS to Fredericksburg, Va 400pts RT.
Questions: Is there anything near the Glenview, Baltimore and Frederickburg stations that we can explore in around an hour or so wait for the returning trains?
Also believe the Fredericksburg station is not a manned station and must have roundtrip tickets when we leave WAS? Correct?
