AGR CC Refunds

I purchased our Lamy to Boston tickets on my AGR credit card. So I got points from the CC for the purchase made. Portions of the tickets were refunded because of bustitutions. With Chase try and get those points back from AGR?

Now, I actually used the refunds to buy my tickets to the Gathering, but not sure how they handled it.

If your refund from Amtrak was made as a credit back to your AGR MC, then the points associated with the original purchase will be deducted from the points earned for the billing period. If that results in negative points for the month, then your AGR account will have points removed.

If you simply had Amtrak credit your refund directly to your new travel purchase, then it will not affect your AGR MC in any way. Your original points earned with your Amtrak purchase will remain as-is.
