The Cardinal seems to be a dead bird again. I gave up my backup tickets on the Capital Limited Thursday after the Cardinal found it's way to Chicago. Should I get them back. I hate doing that... But, I'd really like get to Chicago on July 21. Any words of wisdom from those with more experience...

I am supposed to travel to Chicago from DC on the Cardinal on July 20. I got a backup reservation on the Capital Limited. Figure it is a $15 insurance policy. I realize that most of the Cardinal riders don't have that option.
