California Zeph leaves Denver, eastbound at 7:30 pm. Will the diner still be serving dinner? It is notoriously late, often. How late will they serve?

Depending on how many passengers on train. I think the last call for dinner is like 8 pm or so. So, the best way is to buy meal at snack bar.

Check the status of the Zephyr at the station or at 1-800-USA-RAIL. If it is running late, take advantage of the multitude of brew pubs and restaurants in the area surrounding Union Station. The LoDo (Lower Downtown) section of Denver has numerous eateries and drinkeries of every style and for every budget. All within a block or two of the station.
