whn you rode Zephyr, which side were even numbered roomettes?

Is it really random, or is there a pattern to how the coaches are oriented?

If you don't mind, could you tell me: (a) Was the Zephyr going eastbound or westbound? (b) The side with even numbered roomettes, which is also the side the bedrooms are on---was it on the south side or north side of your coach (alternatively: was it left or right)?

I understand the north side has the better views for most of the route. Even if there is no guarantee, I was wondering if one can optimize one's chances.

The majority of my runs, even was south, but not always. Sometimes the roomettes were adjacent to to the diner, sometimes the bedrooms. It all depends on the car orientation. This goes for #6 as well as #5.
