When does the new TE schedule take effect?

I believe the change of schedule is for May 7. The change in schedule seems to primarily refer to the Sunset Limited portion of the route west of San Antonio. The Texas Eagle portion east of SAS is to remain essentially the same. I have made a reservation from Tucson to Washington for my friend and me for late October Tucson to Chicago and then to Washington.

The only change on the TE from CHI-SAS (#421) takes effect on Friday 5/07 as was said! This Train did leave on Thursdays! The New Spring/Summer National schedule should be out Soon. Probably if you go to Amtrak.com and do test bookings, youll see when the New Schedule takes effect in LAX and NOL for the Sunset Ltd.! :unsure:
