Local press Saint Paul Pioneer press reported a couple days ago that
The NFL owners have reserved some part of SPUD on Feb 1 for an about 500 person dinner (Owners, Front-Office, etc) to be followed by a more than thousand guest gala (dunno what that is) for owners and locals they want to impress. Scheduled hours unknown to me.
What this means for Amtrak #7 westbound passengers -- I dunno.
Yes I've got a grump that the whole Blue line and part of the Green will be reserved for foreigners for a while. No I don't own a hotel or a tavern. Yes -- the whole "Superbowl" thing always griped me , but now -- no it's not as bad as the Pope's visit.
