Way back when, before I even discovered this site, there was a site that was an Amtrak Employee Forum type sit where you could ask questions and get real answers about working for Amtrak etc.

Is that site gone, or just burried in and old disk drive from 15 years ago ?

To be honest (for once ), I never heard of that site. But then again I never heard of AU, until Alan said the name over on FlyerTalk. Now I only fly Amtrak - unless I have to be there yesterday!

Well, that definitely opens up the floor. h34r:

I have never personally seen such a site, and would question any employee officially speaking on the behalf of Amtrak in an open, public, forum like that. If such a site existed, the employee probably lost their job, and subsequently lost interest in "helping" Amtrak.

We are not Amtrak, and don't know what we are talking about! :giggle: But then again, we know more about Amtrak then many Amtrak employees!
