VHSR Annual Meeting

Though the organization is nominally involved in getting HSR in Virginia, their biggest accomplishment has probably been just getting service into Norfolk. Anyhow...their annual meeting is tomorrow at about noon in Norfolk. I was wondering if anyone else was planning to be there?

Wouldn't mind attending but I have a work conflict. It annoys me when boards and commissions meet during working hours. Tells me they don't want public input.

I say this as a former municipal employee that provided staff support to the Planning Commission. While I personally was grateful our meetings began at 1:30 PM, it really cut down on public input. By contrast, our City Council meetings began at 7PM which was brutal on the staff but good for public input.
