Trains and Locomotives show

While going through my DISH (My Channels sub group) satellte channels I discovered the RFDTV channel. Some of you may have heard of it, others may not have.

Anyways, discovered the "Trains and Locomotives show" and I am in the process of watching the story of The Daylight train. Neat stuff for someone like me and maybe others who don't remember the freight trains and passenger trains from the 50's-late 60's.

On 2/10 and 2/11 are two shows on freight trains and what is was like to travel by passenger train back in the day. Some may find it interesting. Enjoy.

Time Warner Cable has that channel where I live. We have several other ones that show railroad stuff, too.

A long time ago, it was on Sat. mornings on DirecTV, but now it seems to be relegated to 4:00 am or so. I'll have to recheck the RFDTV listings, I guess, to see if it's now on Monday afternoons like RalphCT said.
