Hi all,

I have a ticket on train 148 from WAS to NYP. Can I board the train at BWI using this ticket? Or must I get it modified to officially start at BWI?

(Train 148 does stop at BWI, of course.)

Thanks,

ainamkartma

It shouldn't be a problem, 148 origimates in WAS and stops @ New Carrollton after leaving WAS, but as to the fare, sometimes there are special fares or Higher Buckets so you may just want to "Modify" your Rez to show BWI-NYP.

This train can be packed, are you in Biz Class or Coach? Finding Seats might be a problem in Coach!

I would suggest modifying it, unless that is your only segment. Between NCR and BWI, the conductor could hit the "done" button, and mark you as a no-show - and have any other segments on that res cancelled!
