Texas Eagle weather mid-June

Hello, I plan on riding the TX Eagle in mid-June SAS-CHI (all the way).

What is the weather like? Rain? Floods?

Going through Arkansas you should be fine. Weather is Hot and Humid, some summer thunderstorms, but nothing that should delay a train. As for the rest of the route, not sure.

Considering the state of some of the occupants of the lounge car there must be some chance of rain on the inside. :lol:

Are you thinking about hurricanes and the things like floods which accompany them?

If so, seldom a worry since hurricanes are usually in the fall.
