Did you try to log out and try to book as a guest? That's what I was told the last time the system went down.

I spoke with Amtrak Internet help today and got my accounts unlocked. Only now I have to use my AGR number to log in both there and on Amtrak.com. Oh well. And my iPhone app is working again too.
