SWC DINER STILL GREAT

Our family returned from Albuquerque Friday for Hutchinson, KS on #4. I'll share a little about our uneventful but on time trip in the travel log after our Memphis trip. We had reservations for the 5:30 seating in the diner. The wife had the steak, the boys had a pasta plate and I had the holiday special (turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes/gravy with pumpkin pie and whipped cream. It was fantastic! The service was superior also. I hope they don't tamper with this trains food service.

Quite true.....this past spring, I took my family on a round trip from Chicago to Los Angeles and back. The food and service on the SW Chief were outstanding.....and ontime all of the way!
