    Most of these cars are wreck or fire damage it seems. Some are or were expected to be scrapped due to the damage. Did not check them all on there status.

    I believe that some of those Amfleet I's are from the 188 incident.

    A few cars might be useable. A few are list as removed for unknown reason, and are not know derailment. Some are well know burn out shells. Picture are available but your have to search hard for them. No one web site show all damage cars.

    Yeah, I was scanning through David Warner's update to his book page on OTOL, and many of those cars have been SD (Stored) like forever, several with no reason noted. Unfortunately he has no code for fire or water or other interior damage.

    I’m sure Amtrak’s already gotten all of the salvageable parts off of them by now. If not could be worth buying to part out and resell the parts.

    So most likely only scrap dealers will be interested in buying them?
