Superliner Roomette location?

I have booked a trip from Calif to CT, and somewhere on this forum I thought I saw a link to how the Superliner Roomettes are numbered and location in the car, or at least an explanation here of how that works. I searched and can't find it.

On the CZ we have Roomette #003

On the Capitol LTD we have Roomette #004

Also, I am about to book the return trip, slightly different route home that uses the Lakeshore Ltd with Viewliner Roomettes; an explanation of how the roomettes are laid out in that car would be cool too.
