Southwest Chief

I am planning a trip to either Seattle or Los Angeles from Pittsburgh, PA. I was wondering why the prices of rooms on the Southwest Chief are so much more expensive than on the Empire Builder.

I thought the EB was supposedly the flagship train in this country?

All sleeper prices are based on supply and demand. As they sell out the price goes up.
