I found this excellent (though at times tedious and wordy) Video of the recent meeting of the South Florida Transportation Round Table, recently posted on YouTube by the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Organization:
It has lot of info on rail transit, but also has info about road transit and ho0w they play together and how all of it is funded and how expansion will be funded.
One thing that occurred to me is that the planning horizon in South Florida probably does not need to go beyond 2050-2060 since by then the non-flooded geography will change drastically and most likely population will start trending downwards, so it is hard to find dependable geographic and demographic data projections to base any plan on.
