Silver Bustituion Question

So I found out I need to make a quick trip to NY and thought it would be a great opportunity to grab a train ride home. Much to my disappointment, I found out that weekend; both Silver trains terminate in Jacksonville and then Bus to Orlando. I'm guessing it has something to do with track work or the Sunrail - although the Auto Train is not rerouted (cause I guess thats pretty much impossible to do).

My question is - any chance they will change it? Or once the bus is planned it is pretty much locked in place?

My guess is that it will not change. I canceled a trip last April because of bustitution.
