Wow! That's actually pretty impressive statistics. It's hard to believe that they can cut an hour off of the trip between Charlotte and Raleigh by just improving the track to allow 79 MPH operation and buying Talgo equipment. Now I see why the states of Washington and Oregon went with the Talgos when they set up the Cascades.
