How far is the Amtrak Station in San Diego from the piers that the cruise ships use???

Not very far - less than a mile I'd say.

Maybe not that far, even. When we last cruised out of SAN I took this from the deck of our ship at the pier. Station is where the Santa Fe sign is.

I agree it's not that far here is a reverse from the Station viewpoint.

It's walkable; although, if you have a bit a luggage, it might worth a cab for the quick jaunt.

I was just there this last weekend. I'd guess 5-7 min walk at most. Maybe a bit more w/ luggage. There are two good sized parking lots between station and the street w/ the maritime museum/cruise ships/etc. Cruise ships are on the end near the station.
