Returning rental car at Lamy for SW Chief

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think there's any place to return a rental car at Lamy when boarding the SW Chief. Do I need to take the Amtrak van from Santa Fe, or is there another option? Assuming I need to take the van, can I get picked up by the van at the Santa Fe airport, or only at Santa Fe hotels?

I don't know all the answers here, but there certainly are no rental car agencies in Lamy. I have driven around the tiny village, which takes maybe ten minutes. The station area looks like something out of an old movie set. If you are headed east, enjoy the ride, as it may not be there on that route much longer.
