Railroad Dave - early Amtrak Stories

I came across this site a few years ago, and read every story I could find. Just ran across it again recently and thought that some folks would enjoy reading his stories (both as a freight and Amtrak employee back in "the day").

Does anyone know this guy? Is he still around? Great insights into how things were 30ish years ago.

(heads up - one or two of the stories about his train hitting folks have pictures that some may find a little squeamish)

Thank you, thank you, thank you Ryan. I have read everyone of his short stories, truly takes me back to my years on the rails. Just wish I had the memory and discipline to write down my tales.....
