The last three years I have taken a little vacation from Harrisburg in mid-March. In 2009, to Chicago (my first sleeper trip on the way back); in 2010, to Atlanta; and in 2011, to Orlando, Florida. This last I took with my daughter and mother and they loved it.
Both Chicago and Atlanta had me leaving on a Saturday, arriving in the destination Sunday morning, and just a one-night stay in the city; I left the city Monday night and returned home on Tuesday. Orlando had both NASA and Disney World, so we stayed almost a week).
Are there any warm-weather destinations out of Harrisburg that I might take with my daughter, with a one-day overnight stay in a hotel? In other words, I'd like to leave on a Saturday, arrive in the destination Sunday morning, and get back to Harrisburg Tuesday night. I'm guessing that this means either Silver Service or the Crescent if I want a sleeper.
